Group Fitness Class Descriptions
BOXING CHALLENGE:
60 minutes of intense cardio kickboxing! Use boxing and kickboxing conditioning to build knockdown, drag-out, endurance and a champions body! Some shadow boxing and a lot of spar bag work. Building muscular and cardio endurance to help you go the distance! Boxing gloves a must. Gloves are provided by instructor.
PILATES:
Have our Stott trained instructor help you sculpt a strong streamlined body, build core stability, enhance neuro-muscular coordination and improve balance.
CORE BOXING:
Looking for the best total body workout? Increase your muscular and cardio endurance and take your core strength to the next level. We make you sweat and make it fun.
BODY PUMP®:
It’s the fastest way to shape up and lose fat. It’s the ultimate strength training class using hot sounds and a barbell. All fitness levels welcome!
STAR TREATMENT:
Inside ICE everyone is a star! Step, Tone, Abs and Relaxation - you get it all just like you deserve! Start with 20 minutes of heart pumping step, 20 minutes of intense strength, 10 minutes of core strengthen abs and top it of with 10 minutes of a mind body relaxing stretch!
BOSU® INTERVAL:
Participants do low impact moves on the floor, balance and gain strength in this great workout on and off the BOSU® balance trainer.
ROPE X:
You will jump jump jump! Jump rope is an excellent conditioner and/or warm-up to another class. It is a total body activity that incorporates all the muscles and helps prevent injuries. It targets your anaerobic energy systems to burn lots of calories and develops fast twitch muscles to improve speed, quickness, agility, balance, explosiveness, leg, knee, ankle and foot strength. All with just a rope! Must sign-up right before class to be sure to get a spot.
KETTLEBELL CIRCUIT TRAINING:
Kettlebell Circuit Training will consist of intense military based circuit drills and Kettlebell strength training. No extra charge for summer!
SOME LIKE IT LOW:
The best thing a maturing body can do is a variety of low-impact movements with a burn mixed with strength segments to increase strength and the intensity of the workout without adding any hi-impact fast moves. You will burn just as many calories and feel great!
EXTREME STRENGTH:
Challenge your body and increase strength, definition, balance, and coordination in this great total body conditioning class. It utilizes dumbbells, tubes, BOSU's etc.
ICE® CHISELED:
Keep your cardio rate elevated while chiseling your body using weights and calisthenics to strengthen and reshape your muscles.
SPARTAN:
The Spartan session will be a challenging workout that involves every modality to become a modern day warrior. Go through a complete workout that is used to train the secret service, navy seals, and professional fighters. Medicine balls, Kbs', tractor tires, olympic lifts, running will all be utilized in the creative circuits This is not for the meek! You be asked to train and outside the gym walls. Getting warmed up on your own before class is strongly encouraged. This class also has no extra charge for the summer.
CARDIO BOOTCAMP:
Just in time for the beach. ICE is offering a Cardio Bootcamp to increase your cardio endurance and total body strength! This non-stop energy filled class will have you begging for more. Your Drill Sargent will challenge your inner fitness with body changing cardio drills! This class is only eight weeks so hurry in and give your body the work out its been craving.
SOLID TO THE CORE:
30 minutes of ab and low back strengthening. Your CORE is the foundation for everything that you do. Let’s get stronger!
CORE POWER YOGA:
The multi-taskers dream, 75 minutes of core strengthening and whole body transformation when you learn each pose to and from your core you instantly gain balance, stamina, flexibility, and strength.
YOGA (MULTI-LEVEL):
This class allows for a variety of experience levels from beginning to advanced. The instructor will challenge the skill level of each participant. The methods taught are a blend of Bikram, Iyenger, Forrest and Vinyasa and will vary depending on the instructor.
REVCYCLING:
The cutting edge in group indoor cycling. A high-energy workout for all fitness levels. Goals are based on resistance, RPM range, and intensity to improve your fitness and performance. "Reserve a bike at the front desk".
CARDIO CHALLENGE:
Combines non-stop cardio hi/lo and step. Enjoy better fitness while improving speed agility, and power. Suitable for intermediate to the elite aerobic athlete.
“HAPPY HOUR” CIRCUIT:
Come and work out and have fun before you start your weekend. This class will change formats often with a different focus every few weeks. Hi-lo, bosu, strength - you name and you will see it!!
ZUMBA:
A combo of Latin,African,R&B, Hip Hop & traditional dance step. Dance away the calories and melt away the abs while increasing your inner energy!
TABATA:
This challenging class is for the intermediate athlete who is looking to excel their fitness, and personal fitness and performance goals. Scientifically proven to produce results.
SILVER POWER:
A low impact class for those who want something easy to follow and good for the heart. A perfect class for beginners and seniors.
D90X:
HARD CORE ADVANCED CLASS
Are you ready to take your workout to a new level. This challenging strength & cardio workout does it all with the most current fitness trends! Get ready to work hard & see faster results! Bring it or just stay home.
HOT YOGA:
This class is intense. Be prepared to sweat out those toxins and improve flexiblity and strength. This class is a blend of bikram,lyenger,forrest and vinyasa yoga in a heated room (approx 80 degrees). If you have never experienced a Hot Yoga class try it, you are in for a treat.
